Last night, I had THE best meal in weeks since we visited the Jane. To be honest, I even liked these flavors and scents more ! Iranian born Sepideh opened her first wine bar // resto a couple of weeks ago and I was immediately intrigued how Iranian food would delight my taste buds.

Divin isn't a traditional restaurant ; no entrée, main and dessert kind of place .. you can order finger food, a main course and dessert you can share, depending on your appetite.

It all seemed so good on the menu, I wanted to taste it all.

And so we ordered Iranian wraps, pizza and crab to begin with.

As a main dish I choose lamb ; I can't remember eating lamb in such a delightful way. 

Honestly, I guess it was the 1st time someone made me slow cooked lamb like this ; it was heaven.

For dessert I had yoghurt with rose petals, rhubarb and pomegranate.

Most of the times, I'm pretty full and dessert makes me feel bloated but this was SO good, I really could have eaten another one. 

The petals covered in sugar, tasted like pink luxury chips.

Rain rain, got to Spain ! 

We can finally eat al fresco again and we decided to do so last night.

Jumped on our city bikes and drove to the Zuid quartier of town and had a lovely Italian meal at 

Il Magnifico.

It's the perfect place for a midweek meal - weekends are to busy and noisy - and we were lucky enough to sit on the lovely terrace in front of the resto.

We had some veal à la Milanese and pasta and a delicious panna cotta for dessert.

Eating out at ... Graanmarkt 13

Saturday I will have dinner at one of my favourite places in Antwerp : Graanmarkt 13.

Set in a beautiful house near the theatre and a just below their eponymous shop. The small details seen on the tables and on the dishes, make eating out at Graanmarkt a feast for all 5 senses. Flavours explode in your mouth and kiss your taste buds like they have never been kissed before. I can't think of anything that is not perfect about this place. This also counts for their shop and the people working at it.

Zaterdag heb ik gereserveerd in 1 van mijn favoriete plekjes in Antwerpen ; Graanmarkt 13. Gelegen in een prachtig huis vlakbij het theaterplein, net onder hun gelijknamige winkel. De details die ze gebruiken in hun setting en op hun borden maken dat al je zintuigen verwend worden. 

De heerlijkste smaken ontploffen in je mond en verwennen al je smaakpapillen zoals ze nog nooit verwend zijn geweest. Ik kan niks negatiefs zeggen over deze plek ; net zoals de winkel trouwens en de mensen die er werken.
