the window displays these days are festive and bright ; my personal favourite at this point is the one from the Dries van Noten Antwerp store.

I saw it when I drove past it last Friday and it's beyond beautiful ; inspired by The Great Gatsby and a touch of burlesque ; Dita von Teese would be mesmerized !

I had to go back today and shoot some pics ; but I will return because the best is not even visible here.

CNC dress ... school uniform dark blue is back

The good thing about quality brands is, they can hang in your closet for years and then they pop up again because trends tend to come back every now and then. This dress is the perfect late Summer dress ; soft, feminine and easy to combine with a nice glittery heel and Vanessa Bruno cabas.
As dark uniform blue is one of the trends this AW sesaon, I'm a very happy to pull this Costume National dress out of the dark caverns of my closet once again. The lacy part of this dress is the reason I fell for it. It makes a demure dress sexy and feminine.

MSGM pre fall collection

totally love this oversized sweatshirt 

I bought my first pair of trousers by label MSGM this Summer and I must say I became a big fan of them. The fabrics and cuts are amazing and I love the sense of humour seen in their design.

Primark FW 2013 − 2014 collection

My daughter's been asking for ages to go with her to Liège to shop at Primark.

I did not know what the fuzz was all about ; sure, the prices are very low but to travel for a couple of hours by train for some high street stuff you surely could find at H&M or Bershka .. 

Now, I might have a change of heart ; seeing the previews of their FW collection could make me jump on the first train to Liége, instantly !

The items seen in the picture have my approval ! Love the studded boots (SO my thing) and the top and jacket seem a perfect fashion catch too. Now rumour has it Primark will open a shop in Ghent next year : we might enjoy more trips by train I guess .. I know somebody who's going to be very pleased for sure !

Mijn dochter zeurt al weken om eens met de trein naar Luik te gaan om te shoppen bij Primark. 

Ik begreep totaal niet waarom ze nu persé naar Luik wilde ; ok, tienermeisjes geven geen 75€ uit aan een t shirtje maar om nu uren op een trein te gaan zitten om wat dingen te scoren die je in de meeste ketens ook kan vinden .. 

Tot ik deze preview foto's zag ; als de collectie voor AW 2013 zo leuk is, dan spring ik metéén die trein op. Die studded laarsje zijn ZO echt mijn ding ; het topje en vestje zouden ook perfect passen bij enkele stukken die ik al op het oog heb voor volgend seizoen. Nu hoorde ik onlangs dat er in 2014 een Primark in Gent zou openen : treinritjes naar Gent staan dus zeker op de planning. Maar misschien toch eens eerst een dagje Luik inlassen. Ik weet iemand die heel tevreden zal zijn !
