Since it's still warm and my body is still recovering from my operation, I keep the dresses coming. Found this lovely pinafore dress at Zara. It's a perfect in between season's .. My nails (seen in picture 2) are covered with adhesives from H&M ; they are black with 'glow in the dark' stars ! 
When I woke up this morning, tiny glowing stars bedecked my nails .. so cute and easy when you're in a hurry and your nails don't have the proper time to dry. 
They stay for at least a week ; showers and long hot baths included ! 

Something blue ..

Some things never go out of style ; my LBD by Diane von Furstenberg for example. It has mesh pannels and let that be just 'in style' right now.. Had that dress for so many years and it's still a wonderful piece. It does not need much extra : just a statement ring or bracelet and some heels. Works every time.
Also found this mongolian fur tote online ; am obsessed with it. The deep ombré ox-blood red is fab !
For those who think it's too much (or too big) ; it also exists in a smaller clutch version.

Victoria Beckham : Autumn Winter 2013 collection

Weither you're a fan of Victoria Beckham or not, you have to admit her designs are pretty awesome or at least inspirational. Browsing through her collection pictures, I'm not finding it hard to like pretty much everything from this FW 2013 presentation. What strikes me the most is seeing the models wear 'sensible' shoes ; sensible as in 'heels under 4 inches' ..
When I think about Victoria I always picture her with killer heels and it amazes me how she can walk in them all the time ! She must have some Victoria secret, I'm sure !
I like all the clothes seen here above ; the laser cut dress is just perfect. It could easily be a dress found at Sandro, the French label I love so much.

Bouchra Jarrar : Fall 2013 couture

Doesn't happen too often that I like every single piece of a collection ; Bouchra Jarrar has managed to make me fall in love with these Couture du Jour pieces of her Fall 2013 collection. The sleeveless jacket in the second picture is beyond beautiful. I've added the runway show with this link so you can see for yourselves. The materials are just perfect and when you watch the model showing this jacket, you'll notice the back of it is shorter .. it's a high - low cut jacket but the other way round. Absolutely love it !!

Het gebeurt niet vaak dat ik elk stuk van een voorgestelde collectie prachtig vind ; Bouchra Jarrar is er in geslaagd om me verliefd te laten worden op al haar  Couture du Jour stukken van de Fall 2013 lijn. Het mouwloze jasje in de tweede foto is te perfect voor woorden. Ik heb de link van haar modeshow hier bijgevoegd zodat jullie met eigen ogen kunnen zien hoe mooi deze collectie is. Het model loopt in het begin van de show met dit jasje en je zal zien dat het een high - low vest is, maar dan een omgekeerde versie. Helemaal mijn ding !
Note to self ; bij een volgend bezoek aan Parijs toch even checken waar je iets van Bouchra's collecties kan vinden ..

Real or save money ?

 Fashion changes so fast I sometimes wonder if it's all worth buying the originals. Cause hey, let's be real here .. I rather change my outfits throughout the season and catch up on the latest than spending my entire budget on 1 very expensive piece. Even if you have the budget, there's nothing better than the thrill finding a good bargon, right ?
Browsing the shops last night, I stumbled on these amazing ancle boots by Zara. And if I'm honest to myself, I like their color combo's better than the Céline ones .. What do you guys think ? Céline or Zara ?

Mode verandert zo ontzettend snel dat ik me soms afvraag of het wel waard is om al die dure stukken aan te kopen. Want laat ons nu eerlijk zijn, ik verander liever regelmatig mijn outfit en look dan mijn hele budget voor het seizoen op te maken aan 1 superduur stuk. Ook al heb je dan de centen dan nog is niets beter dan gevoel ervaren van een koopje, niet ?
Toen ik gisterenavond surfend op het net die enkellaarsjes van Zara opmerkte, moet ik eerlijk gezegd toegeven dat ik die kleuren van de goedkope versie zelfs mooier vind dan die van Céline .. wat denken jullie ? Céline of Zara ?

MSGM pre fall collection

I bought my first pair of trousers by label MSGM this Summer and I must say I became a big fan of them. The fabrics and cuts are amazing and I love the sense of humour seen in their design.

Christy is waarschijnlijk één van de allermooiste modellen uit de tijd van de supermodels in de jaren 90. Prada besloot om haar samen met enkele jongere modellen aan te stellen als gezicht voor hun herfst campagne 2013-2014. Foto's werden gemaakt door Steven Meisel.
De schoenen en jurk zijn alvast geweldig ; een veelbelovende collectie als ik dit zo bekijk.

These hologram shoes and bag from Rebecca Minkoff (Fall 2013) and the most beautiful bomberjacket by Dries van Noten. I'm keeping a close eye ons his Antwerp store ... they sell out most of their collection in the first weekend when they re-open for new collection.
